Dr. Tauriac, O.D.
Dr. Melissa Williams-Tauriac, O.D. is the owner of Identity Eyecare and is a therapeutic/glaucoma specialist. Dr. Tauriac grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Rosati-Kain. She then attended Loyola University and Xavier University of New Orleans, where she attained her B.S. Magna Cum Laude. She continued her education ot the University of Missouri College of Optometry and graduated with honors. After practicing briefly in New Orleans, she relocated to Dallas in 1999 and spent several years in a large group practice before opening Identity Eyecare in Las Colinas in 2002.
Dr. Tauriac now lives in Dallas and is the proud mother of twin daughters and her lovable labradoodle Lola. In her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and long walks with Lola.
Insurance Accepted
We currently accept a large number of vision and health plans and are constantly adding more. Vision insurance policies are often different than health insurance plans. Regular health insurance plans normally provide coverage for visits related to eye disease, injury or trauma. However, vision insurance is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision related services at a reduced cost. We request that you provide your medical and vision insurance information to our staff to help us answer any questions you may have regarding co-pays, eligibility, and out of pocket expenses.
